Open Access Statement

All academic journals published under the auspices of Universitas Islam Darussalam (UID) Ciamis, West Java, Indonesia are dedicated to the principle that open and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly research is vital for advancing education, fostering innovation, and promoting a greater global exchange of knowledge.

1. Open Access Policy

All journals published by Universitas Islam Darussalam (UID) Ciamis provide immediate, permanent, and unrestricted Open Access to all published content.

In accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition:

  • Readers, researchers, students, and institutions are granted free, full-text access to all published articles immediately upon publication.

  • Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

  • No subscription, registration, or paywall barriers are imposed on readers or institutions to access published articles.

2. Licensing Terms (CC BY-SA 4.0)

All articles published in UID Ciamis journals are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license:

  • Share (Copy and Redistribute): Anyone is free to copy, share, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt (Remix, Transform, and Build Upon): Anyone is free to remix, adapt, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

  • Attribution Requirements: Users must give appropriate credit (properly cite the original published article, the author[s], and the journal), provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

  • ShareAlike Clause: If users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original (CC BY-SA 4.0).

3. Copyright and Publishing Rights

Authors submitting their manuscripts to journals under Universitas Islam Darussalam (UID) Ciamis agree to the following copyright terms:

  • Copyright Retention: Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work without restrictions.

  • First Publication Right: Authors grant the respective journal and Universitas Islam Darussalam (UID) Ciamis (as publisher) the right of first publication under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

  • Self-Archiving / Repository Rights: Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their article (Pre-print, Accepted Author Manuscript [AAM], and Final Published Version of Record [VoR] / PDF) in institutional, disciplinary, or public repositories (such as institutional repositories, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or personal websites) with an explicit acknowledgment of its initial publication in the journal.
